New 18"s for the 308qv

Hot car but the rims just don't do it for me. They give it the "ricey" look.

 

OMG, those things are hideous.

 

Those are bad....sorry but really not good at all - you need to take those back!

With all due respect, this looks much better. If you can't get QV rims the 328 wheels look very nice.

It seems to me that if you like how it looks, who cares what anyone else thinks.

 

Good on you for going for what you wanted. Dont worry about getting validation from any of us here, so long as its what you like, then thats most important!

The only reason I would post my opinion is because I think you want our viewpoint? I don't mean to be offensive by any means, but those look terrible. Others are correct, if you like them don't sweat what I think, I just have to assume maybe your not sure yourself thats why you posted. Nice looking car otherwise.

 

the bottom line is always, of course, whether or not YOU like 'em, but I don't care for them at all; they look way out of place, too ricerish and blingy. I most def agree with Brent, I'm an OEM five spoke guy.

 

Try to get it outside where you'll have more freedom to shoot pics at angles to your liking. Post best shots.

Look forward to seeing how you've connected the dots - I assume pics of touring configuration are at your disposal.

rims look ok and are a personal preference anyway.... but WOW that car looks jacked up like a 4x4! Lower that puppy!

It's been posted before... the brakes on all 3X8's just aren't big enough to support wheels with that much visibility. I'm a big fan of the original 5-spoke wheels (except for the later '88-'89 which mine had).

 

Ahh, but now he can upgrade to brembos or girodiscs!!!

If he didnt care about others opinions, he wouldnt have posted a pic and lets face it, everyone cares what others think to a certian extent in this world like it or not, its a fact of life. As for the rims, I like factory wheels and selling the QV's rather than tucking them away was an error.
