Sorry, didnt mean to step on anyones toes here But it is my opinion that: If you look back at jaguar racing history, every lighweight xke race car every aerodynamic coupe , every lister, tojero and private team cars rode on fat and sometimes very fat rubber As long as you save your original wheel tire combination.... It behooves you not to go wide. Even the 6 new xkes by jaguar ride on 6 inch wheels with 215+ rubber Just my opinion Feast your eyes on these cars tires https://www.google.com/search?q=jaguar+xke+race+cars&client=safari&hl=en-us&prmd=sivn&source=lnms&tbm=isch&sa=X&ved=0CAkQ_AUoAmoVChMIhbnIjJOgyAIVjg6SCh0dRAMV
Your car looks great. Don't agree about the Eagle cars though, I know I'm in a minority but I can't stand them.
At any given time I have a car or 2 or 3..up for sale.. Its become a habit now.buying , selling...I like show cars..lots of them... They are my photographic studies.and bring me joy in perfecting every little detail.. By the spring I hope to have another.. If I can sell it , I will if not I'll drive it till I do.. This is what I like to do, nothing more ,nothing less.. Jaguar : E-Type Series 1.5OTS
