I recently sold my 308 and the car is now with it's new owner. This particular car was my first Ferrari and I had owned it 10 years. The new owner is also a first time Ferrari owner and I'm trying to help him network and get started - advised him to register on the various forums etc.
Aside from the dealers in NY, NJ, PA, D.C. what are the closest independents to Mount
Carmel? Are there any owners nearby that he can network with?
The car is an unmolested 308 - took Silver at the FCA Hartford Concorso - thinking if he had to have it serviced at a dealer they might just farm it out to an independent (you can't sync carbs with an OBD II ) - that's the service guy I'm looking for along with knowledgeable owners. Any information that I can pass on to him would be much appreciated and hopefully he'll be registering here soon. Thanks,
    Rich

Holy Hell. That's where my dad grew up. It's a beautiful area, BUT it's in the middle of nowhere. Great high school football teams and coal mining is all that the area has to offer. I can't recommend any repair garages around there. Maybe in the Danville area since that is where Geisinger Health systems is HQ?

Pocono Sports Cars in Shohola, PA isn't too far to go, they do good work on all Ferraris. Classic Coach in Elizabeth NJ is also not all that far. Our FCA Penn/ Jersey Region has alot of events and we would love to have you join us. Upcoming events in the vicinity are "The Garden State Fall Ferrari Festival, Morristown NJ on Sept 15, The West Reading Fall Festival Ferrari Display on Sept. 21, The Padre Pio FCA Show in Barto, PA on Sept 22. We also have a gathering at "Capuccino in Kutztown" every two months in Kutztown, PA. Check out the FCA Penn/ Jersey Website for details and info.

Thank you Robert, Mike and Jon for your responses - I told the new owner to go to the various events and he'd meet people who could provide him with this information. I think the FCA Penn/Jersey site would be a great start for him. I'll let him know and encourage him again to get involved in this forum.
