New 1st Saturday of the month gathering venue?

I told Vicky we need to go for a 2nd opinion this evening, to fully support the effort!

Don't know about everyone else, but this would be excellent to get rolling again. All those other events are nothing compared to what we had. (This was a true gathering!). And rumor has it that Vinny is planting orange cones in the corner spot for his 355 already.

 

it will be fun. I drove by the other day mid afternoon and there was not much parking. Maybe Vinnie can bring a bunch of cones...

if it is the first saturday of the month that's cool. personally i think the 3rd saturday like old times may be better. why you ask? coffee and octane is the first sunday moning of the month, and having those typically back to back may not spread the wealth over the month. again i'll show up no matter.

Carol and I were talking last night and I think we are going to swing by Cheese Burger Bobby's and see what's going on then head down to Sugo's for dinner. Anybody else wants to come along the more the merrier!

Hmmmmm.... today is supposed to have a high of 41, with "few showers" (30%) predicted. Right now temp shows 36.

Tomorrow is going to be 47, sunny, and 0% chance of rain.

What do you guys think? Is the time getting too close to move it to tomorrow?

drink some alcohol vince........usually helps me. it's raining/sleeting at my house right now. it doesn't look good for today.

 

It is just pure nasty cold out.........I'm all for at-least checking it out tomorrow.

 

With the SuperBowl being tomorrow, the tiurnout woold likely be very poor. Many will be tied up starting mid afternoon with game gatherings !
I say just cancel it this weekend !!

 

Good point about the Superbowl, might have a very light turn-out at best.

Happened by there just now (Vicky had some shoe shopping to check on......OH MY!)... But, saw Mick, Frank, Keith from the Lotus group there, and they mentioned 355 leaving, which sounded like Eddie&Theresa.

HOW ABOUT........... we just try this again in two weeks, which basically gets us into the 3rd week slot. Back to:

Wk1 - C&O Roswell
Wk2 - Peachtree On Potenza
Wk3 - GiosTake2
Wk4 - Monthly Lotus Drive

..........plus obviously the other unplanned drives and such...........

 

I stopped by around 3:10pm just as a red 355 was pulling out...no other Ferraris were there...

 

I second the idea of redoing this event on the third Saturday of each month.
