Oh gawd no. The 458 spider was probably the most disappointing F car I have ever driven. I knew after a week I wasn't keeping it. Once you decide you're going to get rid of a car, it's no longer yours. You start to wonder how and when and worry some idiot will plow into you and you'll loose 30 or 40k in an instant. It's no longer any fun. Sooner it's gone, the better. Note to car makers: "fast" doesn't necessarily mean "fun". It just means fast. My mistake: buying a coupe first. Ferraris mistake: making the spider softer than the coupe that was already too soft from the DCT programming. But the C7 has nothing to do with that.
I have owned a 360 430 and now a 458. This post says it perfectly. It is not a great by Ferrari standards. y 2014 Vette is a better and more exciting sports car. It makes me say " what were they thinking" Ferrari that is. I kept my 458 but only because I will not most likely buy another one unless they change direction. Lee
Your first para is exactly the way I felt when I sold my 430. When I was done I was done. It wasn't worth the worry.
Here is a side by side 430 and C7 picture I took in Miami yesterday. They do have some similarities. Image Unavailable, Please Login
