Just bought a 2023 296, coming out of a 488 Spider. Only driven it about 20 miles and love it. Pictures below. Question: I activated Apple Car Play and now it’s the only screen I see on the dashboard. Is there a way to have Apple Car play engaged but have the “tach screen” showing on the dash? Any help is much appreciated!! Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
I believe the only option is for apple car play to take over the entire screen. I never enabled mine for that reason.
To get back to the ferrari screen. 1. Tap the right hand haptic button set to bring it to life. 2. Press and hold the home with arrow button. Apple play takes over the whole screen. I tend to set what I need and go back to the ferrari screen. You can use the buttons on the rear of the steering wheel to change track or use Siri to make a call etc. So you still you CarPlay but have the main tachometer screen on.
Will do. Only 350 miles so still in the break in period … but early indications are very positive. According to the car’s manual, you should not go above 4000 RPM until you’ve driven 621 miles (1000 KM) and I’m trying really hard to abide by those instructions - which is difficult!

After the whole routine of getting to know the car, I drove off and the car automatically connected CarPlay and the entire screen was the Apple interface. No gauges, nothing else. I was frantically trying to figure out how to exit that configuration to no avail. Confused to say the least.
