car is running great ...Is it normal for the exhaust to be significantly stronger on one side than the other(right much stronger)?

It will depend on the design of the box & you may well find this at idle when (relatively) not much gas is being moved & it just finds the easiest route. If you rev the engine the pressure builds up in the box & you will probably find the output evens up across the two sides.

On my 328 the outer pipes are much stronger than the inners at idle. As soon as you rev it it evens up. Had my CO checked recently & we got markedly different readings depending on which pipe the probe was put into. Basically if it went into one of the inners there wasn't enough gas at idle to get a decent reading.
