    Well , i did it , some may not agree I should have done it , but i love my new 360 rims ,and i painted the targa ( so not a concours car now ) it looks better, up to date. at least i think so....:)

    typically I don't like putting later model wheels on earlier model cars, but that looks pretty good. Just keep the originals so that if you go to sell the car, the new wheels won't be an issue.

    Love the painted targa too. Be careful storing it.

    yes im keeping the orig tires rims. thought these would be fun for a while. was hesitant but found them on ebay for 1275. with good meat on them too, supposedly only 1500 mi. on them. they drive nice, forgot the size dave , let you know tomorrow , car is under wrap right now..

    to paint the top , i just sanded down the fiberglass smooth , removed the caulk at the edges, painted with glasurit, and recaulked...

    Looks great - particularly the body colored top. RickDay246 here in SoCal has 360 wheels on his 348 as well. I think they look better on the 348 than they do on the 360!

    Nice job. I did the same thing to my top last year. It really makes the car look sooooo much better. They should have come that way from the factory in the first place.

    Yeah I think your right. It may have been for the GTS models. But what ever the case, I'm willing to bet that it would have cost a few THOU$AND to get it done.
