The Ferrari 348 (Type F119) is a mid-engined, rear-wheel-drive V8-powered 2-seat sports car by Ferrari, replacing the 328 in 1989 and continuing until 1995.[5][6] It was the final V8 mid-engine model developed by Enzo Ferrari before his death, commissioned to production posthumously.

Hopefully you will love the car, but I can't help thinking that it would have made a lot more sense to learn all you can about the car before buying one?

In addition: does the car come with all the service records? Has the timing belt service been performed?

Wow my348.com is a wealth of knowledge...glad I stumbled on to this thread. I have a 91 348Tb and a 94 Spider this little website answered a few questions already.. Congrats margarita on your purchase!

Anybody here know the best way to determine value of 348s?

 

Watch online. you can search ebay for "sold" items. autotrader gives you an idea of what the ask is...I typically subtract 5-10k and it's pretty close to the sell.

Welcome Margarita, you will love your 348 but you will find it is a very different kind experience than your 360. You’re definitely taking a step back in time and technology.

Just being a stickler but the car is a 91 348 TS not a GTS. Those didn’t exist in 91and there are enough noteable differences between a TS and GTS that one should use the correct designation.

 

Liking the stance and the overall look of the car. Hope it turns out to be a good one for you. Depending on your expectations, the 348 can easily be the best Ferrari for a given set of purposes. I know it is for mine. If it's the right car for you you'll *love* it. Enjoy and let us know what you think.

Who cares if it's a TS or a GTS? - They're all but the same car anyway! (Honestly, the differences between a TS and a GTS are not that great! )

You’re right only dozens of differences including engine modifications, Now I feel better about ordering those Competizione badges to put on my 91TB. It’s basically the same car.

I said I was just being a stickler and throwing the fact out there. If I was buying a 348 I’d definitely want to know if it was a TB or a GTB. There are so many important differences that the GTB pulls a premium in price. But whatever it was just an offhanded observation. Didn’t know offering correct information it would put anybody’s knickers in a knot.
