    Good morning,

I did present myself on the general post, but i wanted to do so in the 355 specific forum.

I'm new owner since 3 weeks, and found this Forum and think i can learn a lot form all of you... (until now i was just reading and trying to learn about you all, but now i have thing to talk about... :);))

My "new" car is a 96 355 manual LHD with tubi exhaust, i do live in La coruña, and i'm having a lot of fun since my new toy came into my house (i leave you some photos).

With it, as usual i think, some problems do also come, like the AC compresor broke (will have to see if rebuildable), comands of ventilation (i don't know do we call it, do not work, no air/fan is coming form outside (nor heat or cold)... don't know where to look at..., the water fans are both conected to only one fuse!!!! crazy...... the air pump isn't conected (do not have fuse, maybe due to tubi exhaust?) and finally the slow down light do not show and the start for a second, like de ABS when you turn on the key, so i think the other owners, may have made some changes on that........ (will this may cause any incident or problem?)

after a deap search, this is all wrong i found on the car that runs great and makes me love it more and more (i'm very fusy). And with time will leave it perfect.... not only runing great, but with everything in order. eventhought all of this, since i have it, the car runs extremely well and fast (drove already for 800 miles without any incident not known before).

if anyone can help me it will be great, before having to take it to dealer or specialist...

regards to everyone and read you!!

Several of the things you mention have been described here previously eg ventilation / cooling fans / slow down light so its worth a search - there's also a Spanish section further down which might help

I'm a little confused. I thought the 96 models (and on) had the U-shaped bend in the intake. The engine picture looks more like a 95 model. What is the manufacture date of the car?

Great look car by the way!!!

beautiful car, but the engine shot leads me to believe it's a 95 model year.

Beautiful! Hope it gives you many pleasurable miles. :)

With respect to your AC compressor, log onto the Ricambi website (an FChat Sponsor) they have a replacement compressor that is an improvement over the OEM and will be cheaper than re-building your old one.

EDIT: Here's the Ricambi Link: http://www.ricambiamerica.com/product_info.php?products_id=203599

EDIT 2: Check your fuses and relays. Also, remove the AC Control Unit in the center console (remove ash tray and take out the screw holding the unit) and check the multi-pin plug.

Thanks to all for your comments,

Yes, it's a 2.7 motornic of 1996 (with Airbags (strange and dificult also)) i know it's a 1996 car as i asked a Ferrari Dealer, but did not remeber the month (first inmatriculation in november 1996), where or how can i find it?

thanks for the info about ricambidiamerica, it's very helpfull and going to make my spare cost go down ;):)

yes the color is Canne Di Fucile (first on photo's it did not convince me, but looking at it in front..... i felt in love with it...

    regards and see you!
