yes it is.
I've got a better idea for you Pap - move to Canberra and buy an SD3 instead of a truck!! More fun doing the work than driving the truck I'd have thought Of course the downside (other than the cost of the SD3) is that there is probably more fun to be had living in Mt Isa than Canberra
Perhaps, But compared to Mount Isa, at least we have nice, wide, pothole free roads with very little traffic. M
it looks very yummy. Styling looked a bit dated a few years back but now looking quite funky. I like it a lot
they have amazing road presence too....and, much to my amazement, a really nice sound with an after market exhaust.
I bought this from Alan Jones too! (F1 etc) Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
Very good point on the road quality - although I suspect the traffic levels in both places are similar!
Its US $25K for an SD3 tester. Ricambi has one or two for sale. I am going to get straight onto him and order one!
This is what you can buy one for: $24,999 US dollars Ebay 380165411197 I want one too, but at about 1/10th the price. M
I havent seen one for sale for a while, but I think they cost the same mate. US $20-$25K is what I have seen them for sale for. A LOT of money to spend just so you can play with one at home. But vital if you work on them all the time and can make some money back off it.
Yep, cheers Mike. $25K for that one! http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&_rdc=1&item=380165411197&ru=http%3A%2F%2Fshop.ebay.com.au%3A80%2F%3F_from%3DR40%26_trksid%3Dp3907.m38.l1313%26_nkw%3D380165411197%26_sacat%3DSee-All-Categories%26_fvi%3D1&viewitem=
those bikes were a legend when new, was living with a mate who bought one and we'd race from the back gate at Amberley to 1 squadron around the perimeter of the base ... he'd give me a km start and then come screaming up to me , nod that I was doing well , then pull a wheelstand into the distance at well over 160 kph !! Apparently the fuel tank was handmade because he dropped it on the track one day and had to wait some time for it to be made
