Dear all, I've been as a member of the ferrarichat community already since 2011. Over the years I've been learning a lots of great things about this community and would like to thank everyone for your great contribution. For my shame this is my first post over the years even I already own manual 360 Modena since 2012. My apologies to braking the rule not to introduce myself earlier. Finally I made my second dream got true and got 458 Spider. She is 2012 model with just over 2200 miles on the meter. She is well equipped with lot's of carbon options (doors, diffusor, front wings, b-pillars, steering wheel and other interior parts), lift, cruise control, full electric seats. Car is like new and I really enjoy it. My Modena is in Finland and currently I am living in Switzerland where I have my Spider. I'm really enjoying the ride of the 458, what a fantastic car it is 😊 I also attached photo from my 360.....I believe you got my preference on Rossi Cirsa and Black interior. Black interior is a wise choice for a spider. I have beige on my 2012 and it shows dirt easily, especially the beige leather headliner. Pretty when clean. Congrats. You will love it.
Thank you from your positive comments and apologies about typos with my phone.... Sound is incredible specially when upshifting on acceleration I like the opening rear window too...that was something I did not think before getting the car
JariT your low mileage Ferrari Spider was a great find. Especially with those expensive optional from the dealer 'official' Ferrari wheels. Thanks for sharing your Ferrari Spider here!
Thank you! Yes there are plenty of speedcams here, better to drive carefully. Another hand Switzerland has plenty of mountain roads where speed limit is well beoynd what car can do on those hairpins If I need speed, then just go to Germany which is less than hour drive away.
Thank you! I was in search of 458 for a long time (coupe or spider). I got information about this car in advance from dealer and after learned about the low mileage and options...just cold not resist. It went beoynd what I though was my budget, but it's definately worth of it, no regrets Additional options which I did not yet mention are auto dimming and folding mirrors, AFS lights, iPod connection and 2 year Ferrari power warranty.
Wheels came as a bonus, I did not know which wheels were included at the beginning. I like these more and more and actually they look like a 'spider'. Seems to be quite rare option within 458 community.
I went throug the Spluegen Pass and then to the GE Autobahns 2 weeks ago Image Unavailable, Please Login
Drove over to Marble which is on the other side of the spectacular Elk Mountain Range from Aspen. Beautiful trip with the top down. Waterfalls in full flow. Coming home it started to rain HARD. So much for the forecast of 15% chance of rain! I wasn't getting wet and was afraid if l stopped l would get soaked. There was very little traffic and l was in wet mode. After about 15 miles the rain stopped. By the time l got home everything was pretty much dried out. Now l am looking forward to washing the spider.
Nice car! Did you like the route? I'm looking different mountain passes and this one is not too far from my home.
