New $5 dollar bill

Don't snort coke with bills, you'll get hepatitis or some other disease, cash is filthy you don't want it in your veins.

Someone gave me a $20 bill the other day, the old small portrait greenback. Did a double-take, thought it was fake!

 

got one of the new 5's yesterday.

spent it immediately. dont want that thing gaying up my wallet.

Have you guys ever given a $20 instead of a $5? It seems like a normal line of progression, it will make it easier when dealing with cash, no?

 

Why would they convert to yet another coin that costs more to make than its face value?

Cost of reprinting, plus shredding old bills vs coin lifespan of decades.

The only way to make the $1 coin work would be design it different size from quarter, maybe shape. Then eliminate the bill at the same time.

The only downside I see to $1 coins, is strip clubs. Clanking coins in a garter belt would 'distract' from the experience.....

 

Smartest strip club I ever went to gave all your change in $2 bills.

 

Then I guess you have to put the coins somewhere where they won't 'jingle', eh ? Ewwwwwww......

 

Not much of a change so I do not really see why they are doing it but still no where near as funny looking as some of the international funds.

You are correct!! Most of the cokers I know use the straw section of a clicker pen.

 

$100 bill is next..hope it looks like the $50 bill.

 

I got one of those fives at the dry cleaners. The big purple "5" is pretty silly.

 

A straw or glass tube would be better. After a day, the straw might be clogged though, hey there's another line inside of it!
