Very nice, i recognize those plates; he doesnt post very often though. Front plate is a MUST in HK! The government is extremely strict about it, nothing like the US or China; you will not walk away without a ticket.
Just put the Novitec wheels on at IMSS. Turned out fantastic and the guys over at IMSS were great and quite enthusiastic. Many thanks to them. Photos are not the best but will get our resident HK photographer Chester to take some nice pics one night. The wheels are 20x9 and 21x12.5 with 275/30/20 and 355/25/21 P-zero tires. Very nice! definitely better than the pentagrams IMO Anything interesting at IMSS other than the 275?
Wow that looks MUCH better! I wasn't too sure about it with the stock wheels. I knew he couldn't live without an F-Car in the garage! Very much tempted to come up and nick off with the car hahaha.
The guys at IMSS were quite hesitant at first when they saw just how big the rear wheels were compared with the stock ones but they fit very well. When you planning another trip up to HK again? Gotta give it a good testing.
Hi Jon, Just spoke with the owner and the first thing he did was reassure me that you can still spin the wheels in first gear, so that's my main concern alleviated haha. Still wondering about the front/rear balance, but I guess I'll see when I drive it. Need to fit in a trip with work, will see what happens. Hopefully sooner rather than later!
Very nice 599. Look forward to seeing a complete Novitec 599 like this one. BTW, I am new to this Forum and would like to say hello to all fellows in HK. I have driven Ferraris for about 10 years. The first one was a Testarossa which I still own till now. I am to obsessed with the 360 Challenge Stradale lately, should prices reduce, I will go for it if my wallet lets me. Welcome! What do you think is a good price for a CS? Tax paid or unpaid? If tax paid not too many choices. If unpaid not too many cars in great condition as most have been heavily China drived. Prices in HK still quite high for CS. Are you really sure you still want one after 430S comes out? First cars will be here soon and then many more to follow. CS will be very slow compared with 430S
Welcome to the boards, glad to have more HK members posting. The 599 will go in for a bit of painting, just going to do the rear bottom bits where the exhaust tips come out. The diffuser will be left black and i'll post some more pictures when the work is done. I think it should look quite good.
The painting will be done at IMSS, the guys are really nice and I think i will be using them from now on to install most of my products.
My experience too. IMSS people are first rate. That is why in other threads I don't understand why some people bash the dealer just because they are the dealer. The black Novitec kit was installed by IMSS and I thought they did a great job
True, i guess people just think if its a Ferrari dealer they must be *********s. However i just can't think of having anyone else do the work anymore. Which black novitec kit did you see? Was it on a 430 or a 599?
599. Belonging to the family that have all black everything. It was done in 06. Car came to HK in about October.
Yes, the question of whether to get a "T-plated or not" 360CS bothers me. Most of the CS were brought to the track for fun. Local registered CS were just a few. From time to time, there were thoughts that I should simply go for a 360, fit it with the CS body kit, put the stripes on, get a tubi and a new set of coilovers. The 430S is truly nice, but I can only admire it at my current stage.
