    I'm not sure excatly where they are from but I like to imagine that they were fitted in period (probably by the factory) as a performance enhancement - a bespoke upgrade to reduce un-sprung mass and minimise turbulence in the wheel arches, which I understand was prone to interfere with the ground effects at high speeds ;)

    I don't supposed anyone knows any more about this vehicle?

    I read that is was created by Ferrari (obviously in partnership with Fiat) for his rich clients, who wanted something to take onto the beach or drive round their vineyards - but I don't really know anything more?
