    Hi guys !
Yesterday i took my 360 for a spin and visited the GM dealer... I was curious to go look at the new Stingray... i read so much about it... honestly, love from the first sight :)
    and... i got it !
    Hey... don t worry, no trade-ins ;)
Whether you agree or not , i enjoyed every minute all day today... it is fabulous FOR THE MONEY !
Of course i am keeping my red trinity... mmm...may upgrade to a 430 ... so, again, no panic, i am staying with you all !

The new C7 3LT Z51 I got has everything you can think of... and honestly , it is the first american car i like ! My brother has the C6 Z06, it is super fast but very poor interior and not very sexy... the C7 is a different story, trust me.
it looks and handles correctly with a 460 ft-lb Torque ! Just for comparison, the 458 has a torque short of 400 ft-lb, 398 to be exact !

Good job GM... hopefully my opinion will last a long time!
BTW- 2 years free labor and parts maintenance , 7 years bumper to bumper parts and labor warranty (with extended 3600$ warranty) ! so i intend to drive it daily :)

    enjoy the pics :)

Also, on another note, All my Gratitude to those who served this Country (USA), today is MEMORIAL DAY

    Cheers to All

Your question is "do you agree"? Ma answer, "yes, I fully agree"!

I really like the Corvette! Its unique DNA, its design language, the technical concept/layout, the V8 power (with or without supercharging), yes, there are so many things I like on this car. IMO in the meanwhile a Corvette isn't comparable, a Corvette is a Corvette.

My actual favorite is the ZR1 because I hadn't the possibility to drive a C7 until yet. But if I have a look on the C7-performance sheet I'm fully convinced that this car will proceed the "Corvette story" successfully.

Congratulation, you did the right choice - a perfect addition to your mid engine Ferrari. :)

Congrats on your new purchase! It's gorgeous.
In an older post I tried asking people how the 360 compares to the new stingray. I was looking for people that had personal experience with BOTH. Very few people that answered actually had driven both. So now I have to ask YOU.....How do they compare?!?!
I would love to hear about stuff that we wouldn't expect. We all know that the Vette will be faster, more torque, less maintenance, cheaper...etc, etc. What I want to know is how does the car actually feel? Do you feel connected, is the steering precise (not numb like the older vettes), does it feel balanced when pushed in a corner, does it feel nimble like a sports car should (or a little bulky and sloppy like the older Vettes) does it put a smile on your face like the 360, etc.? I know that they are completely different beasts, but I would love to hear your opinions since you own both!
Thanks and good luck with your new ride!

Honestly, I havent had the chance to test it enough for such comparison... I can tell you one thing for sure... you come back from the ride and it feels like you didnt even left the garage and wanna go again :)
yes... a big smile on the face !
Tonight i took two 90 degrees corner i know very well with my 360 ... it felt hugging the road ! I still wanna believe the 360 sticks to the road better... i need more time to get used to the vette.
The ride is nice, the muffler music in Sports mode is nice, the interior is FABULOUS with heads-up display and all the possibility to customise the cluster !
The entertainment system is complete and with a push of a button the screen drops to unveil a nice hideout for my 380 handgun :)

One flaw so far: When you park the car, the AC condenser drips on the muffler giving this annoying sizzling noise... tomorrow i will put it on the lift to see if i can divert the drain

For 80 grand, i doubt there is a quality/price match out there ! Also, the color combo i got is a true head turner :) that i can tell you that it has been tested today !

    cheers to all

I can see why. You have to look pretty closely to find any Corvette styling heritage. Not that it has any thing which screams "Pininfarina " either, but the way the new Ferrari styling is going one could certainly see a Ferrari there if you squint a little bit.

Change some badges and you'd come a lot closer to passing it off as a Ferrari than most replica cars.

It's not exactly my cup of tea, but I'll give it full credit for being good looking (in a modern way) and it serves up a huge bang for the buck; that's for sure.

    Congratulations.

    Beautiful...nicely matches your set.

So there are stingrays sitting on the kit now (meaning one doesn't have to order and wait)?

Are they getting sticker or a premium or discounting from MSRP?

Not Really... you can find one or two convertibles per city... if you like the color and package it would be great to get it rather than wait 3 months.
With my tough negotiating skills , i was able to discount 1500$ off the MSRP+TAX, to take it off the lot at 81k$.

Nice. I haven't driven a C7 yet. All other generations I have driven. I have owned C3 thru C6. I traded my 2013 427 convertible for my 07 F430 coupe. I still have a 2006 C6 convertible with 600hp on tap. I'm waiting for the C7 Z06 convertible to come out to see if I want to let the 06 go for a new Vette.

why not, GM designer acknowledged that they copied European/Ferrari styling to appeal to younger people... so obviously it worked it's a hot seller and approved by Ferrari fans too like yourself.

    Congrats on the car!

I love it. Red/red Corvette convertibles just work for me, and the C7 is just a stunner.

Good choice on the transmission too... :)

Lesson to the rest of us is stay away from Chevy dealerships unless you have plenty of room in the garage.
