    we did it!

I just put a deposit down on a Siberian Husky puppy.

Pure bred, AKC registered, GPS chip, shots, and wormed..

They also have a complete 2 year warranty from any "gentic" mishaps. We went with a breeder instead of the mall pet stores for obvious reasons, and are picking this little addition to the family up at the end of september (just in time for my wife's birthday).

We went with the dark red/white combo opposed to the usual "white/black" coloring.

    Here's the puppy !!

we're SO excited, it's going to be like our "baby"

    :)

Italia, I will let you know how it goes of course :)

My wife had one for about 13 years while growing up, and she loves them. They're a bit stubborn she says, but are VERY loyal and smart.

I deffinently suggest you go through a breeder opposed to the typical mall pet shop. At the mall they were asking $1200.00 for the dogs, we looked into quite a few awesome breeders and found someone who takes GREAT pride in raising his dogs, and he was only asking $550.00.

His dogs are also AKC registered purebreeds, have a 3 year "warranty" against hip problems or genetic problems, GPS tracking chip incase he ever gets lost, stolen, or is out on his own somehow, and are also given their 1st and 2nd shots as well as de-worming.

We're actually going to go take a look at the pup today, we get to take him home in about 2 weeks :).

    we are so excited.

Wow, congrats! I've always wanted a Siberian puppy, that and a German Shepard. Keep us updated on its training, I've heard they're a handful at first, make sure you get a prefessional trainer who has trained them before.

Congrats! Huskies are great dogs. And you definitely went about it the right way. That will be a great present. Any names picked out?
