Holy crap, this is my favourite speciale hands down. As much as I hate white take this any day of the week.
May I ask what color spec your exterior is? Usually bianco avus is not as stark white right? Your car looks to be super white!
That's going to be a fantastic collector's car in the future. Don't see many in that color scheme as you do with the solid black, red, or whites.

thx. as for the colours was always thinking white as the base but then wanted something different for the stripes (wanted black originally, but it was already being done by someone else locally) so asked if the factory would go out of the box with the stripes and they would. The rest is history. I did deal directly with Remo and Giuseppe on this. They were excellent to deal with!!
I don't like white cars in general, but this Italy-themed Speciale is truly amazing! Love the way the stripes blend in and the unique tricolore calipers!
Thx. There is a 1/2 inch wide silver stripe on both of the outside of the red and the green to make it really stand out live. Hard to see in these pics so far.

Was driving the car tonight to my xpel skin guy for the works and noticed a little emblem on the left screen marked "drs ". Drag Reduction System. Now that's cools just like F1. I know its the flaps that open at the front and I assume at the back. Didn't notice at what speed they open at but did notice at 50mph/ 80kmh the indicator went off. I believe its based on wind velocity hitting the 2 front fins. Cool.
The front flaps are pushed back at 170 km/h and then change position again at 220. Aero below 120 is virtually non existenrt.
Got another chance to go on the highway today and the drs lights comes on at 130 kmh and goes off at 80 kmh. Need to get someone to follow me and let me know if the back flaps open and what speed.
Was at the track today. Wow is this car responsive and quick!!! Big difference between this and the 458 spider.
