    Not another blob!

A pretty good looking blob, but another blob nevertheless.

My local Audi dealer had a red one and black one out front the other day - I like it, but wouldn't buy one simply because IMHO there are far better used cars for the same money - e.g. 996, reasonably new M3's and the like

I like it...but like some others have said for the same money there are better cars to be had, I would def. wait a year or two and let the price fall.

I like the exterior of the new one MUCH better. The interior doesn't seem as special to me as the old one though...might just be the particular car.

I have looked at both the Audi Canada and Audi USA sites and the TT is not listed under models. What gives?

My thoughts exactly. Based on a few mag pics I was really disappointed. I think the black with these rims looks nice. Now the question is-- Base Cayman or Loaded TT, Quattro, DSG and $4k left in your pocket......

I can hear them several years from now , saying:

the early one is a true AUDI TT because it was smaller ...
later on they added weight and size for NO reason ...

Eh, it's a car for the wife. I heard of a stretched out, longer coupe version on the way...or maybe it was a 4 door? I would buy the Cayman over it in a heartbeat, I have heard that the Cayman's are one hell of a fun car to toss around.

they added length and width, but because of the extensive use of aluminum its actually about 200 pounds lighter than the original.
