Nothing great really, and not as innovative (if you liked it or not) in design as the first one, inside or out.
I like it better then the current one, I would drive it, I am sure they will make an RS or a S version of it, that would be cool
I think they are bringinout out a coupe/convertible version alongside this hatch, or "shooting break" version. Too bad quattro sucks.
I actually like it quite a bit, but clearly it's nothing like the original (which I like much more so). It almost reminds me of a Renault Sport Clio (mid-engine V6 hatch) or a VW Golf. I wonder if that actually might be a replacement for the A3 rather than the TT? The styling would make more sense if it were, but who knows these days.
i actually like its exterior and interior. probably overweight though. wasn't BOSE the audio company working on some electromagnetic damping system as well?
the A3 just got here, cant be to replace that! I like it better too function wise, not sure about the looks; i dont hate it; not sure i love it...
Its just a concept to tease us with Production looks and Concept flaire. The front of the car should be production ready, obviously the grill will have a different insert. The rear is completely concept, the TT will not be a hatch, although everything below the rear window line should be extremely close to production. The top/rear will be sloped down to resemble the original TT.
I found the high window sills to create a very claustrophobic driving experience in the original one.
I agree that is looks like a French hot hatch. I actually like it much more than the current car. I agree it is not as original, but the old one never did it for me. That 3D nav screen is really cool though.
Am I the only one out here that thinks that is a very bad idea? Wonder how much that's going to cost to replace when it dies?
That pic isn't from the New TT. That's from a new project car Audi has called: the Shooting Brake Concept is a study vehicle offering a further trailblazing interpretation of Audi's current formal idiom, blending the powerful dynamism of a sports car with a new sense of spaciousness and greater functionality. With its powerful 250 bhp, 3.2-litre six-cylinder engine and quattro permanent four-wheel drive, the Shooting Brake Concept produces a quality of road behaviour that in every respect lives up to its visual impact. The study vehicle sprints from 0 to 100 km/h in just 6.0 seconds, and its top speed is electronically governed at 250 km/h.
I know that Rod Millen motorsports had a government grant to develop a electromagnetic dampening system for the Humvee, kind of cool, cause it would thicken up and go viscous with the slightest change in electricity
