    Hey guys, as most of you know, I am in the middle of powder coating my brake calipers on my 348. Does anyone know where to find new brake bleeder caps? I am trying to find something that looks original. Are they available or will I need to go with a different style? Thanks, Todd

    YES!!! :) I have searched and searched and the only thing that would come up was either for a motorcycle or it was just the cap without the retainer loop. I thought, "this could not be that hard to find!". Thanks so much for the link. ;)


    To PAP: You are right, I should have posted a pic of the old one. This is why you should not make posts at 3 or 4 am. :D (isn't there an app for that?)

    No problem. BTW, I have delt with Zeckhausen and they know their stuff. They also have brake piston boots.

    In the FWIW column, when I first started ordering parts from the dealer (1997), I replaced all 8 of those caps on my 348. They only charged me $20.00 each! Good thing my wife never reads this.

    I replaced all of mine with the fast bleeders, one way valves.

    Makes bleeding brakes a one person job.
