Hi everyone, I recently moved back to LA and to enjoy the weather on a 'budget' I recently acquired a 2010 Ferrari California. Everything runs great and the car is surprisingly fast. It makes amazing sounds, not as good as the V-12 cars I've had in the past (612) but good enough to put a smile on people's faces. I have only 2 issues with the car, the leather on the dashboard is pulling in a couple of places and I can't figure out how to engage the wiper fluid. Can someone please tell me where I can go to affordably redo the leather on the dash and how I can engage the wiper fluid? Any help would be greatly appreciated thank you.

The leather separation problem is virtually universal, and isn’t limited to the California. I’m afraid there isn’t a lot you can do short of removing the dash, and that is a major evolution. Best bet is probably to find a specialty shop that has done it before. You might ask on other forums here, as other models have the same problem, especially the 458. Also, mention the dash leather problem in the title of your search, or start a new one for that specific problem.

For some dash leather issues, there is a technique with heat application that can bring back the original fit. I don't know details but recommend learning more and maybe finding who your dealer uses for this method. I suspect it is along the lines of an iron, a towel, and some weight. On my 2016 Cali T there is some seasonal leather lifting that comes and goes away without intervention. I've come to just not worry about it rather than chase a solution.
