    A few months ago I decided to replace my clutch in my 308 GTS, because it was too heavy to press the pedal. When I completed this very difficult job, the clutch pedal was exactly the same as it was before. I was very disappointed because the old clutch was only half worn. I looked again at the clutch cable and it looked ok, but I decided to order a new one. Yesterday I got around to changing it, and what do you know, this was the problem. So if you have a heavy clutch pedal try changing the cable before the clutch.

    I looked at all the threads on changing the clutch cable. Decided to take it in. Cost $125 in labor. Money well spent. Seems to have more resistance now. Other one was frayed.
