    Don't laugh...ok...go ahead and laugh. I needed a commuter car to get me to NJ from LI everyday (about 30,000 miles per year) good on gas, reliable, goes through all kinds of weather, and FUN to drive.
    How about a Honda CR-V? Yeah, no kidding this thing is fun as hell. Love it.

    So, the "fleet" is:

    2004 BMW 325ci
    1982 Mondial
    2006 Honda CR-V
    1981 Fiat Spider.

    Sam-I hear you on this as it is a great little truck but i have one question-what kind of gas mileage are you getting? If it is decent I may take a look at one but if it isn't then I may do the new VW Rabbit. Thanks!

    Well, it is brand new, but it is rated at 22 city 28 highway.
    In any case, I strongly reccomend a test drive.
