Beautiful car, both the GT and the R8.... I drive a QP that I bought new from CAS last year.... I love the car and had a real nice experience buying it... It was however a compromise as it wasn't everything I wanted but I have learned that many things in life involve compromise.. One of the reasons I bought from the dealer was to establish a sort of family relationship and be able to count on the dealer when something goes wrong... My concern is buying a car from outside there circle and trying to get good service... Although I am sure they have to honor all warranties I just wonder if there is any experience with bringing in another car for dealer work, etc.... Maserati of Minneapolis did have a hair nicer color combo but in the end I love the car I drive none the less....
    Tony..........

Tony, no doubt it's easier to deal with a local purchase. If CAS had had a red or grey car in stock, I'd most likely also have picked that up instead. Luckily, though, service is a nice profit center for the dealers still, so I think they'll be more than happy to do warranty work and get paid by Maserati when they can.

So which one you like better, the R8 or the GranTurismo?

They're not really that comparable. The R8 is an awesome fun sports car and the GT is much nicer for just cruising and running errands. I'd prefer to be running the GT in the city and the R8 on some twisties. Both are great cars, though. It's amazing how much better cars have become and are built just over the last few years.

Ha, no. Unless my terrible experience from last year is put right, I swore not to get another Ferrari for 10 years. So another 9.5 still to go! But I can't blame the beautiful sister for something her dumb brother did, so Maserati is fair game :D. Too bad too, I really like the cars and would love to get another one. Just have to be able to look myself in the mirror doing it. Until then, these guys will have to do:
