Let me know what you guys think of this concept. A guy I know is close to the Big Three and he submits my designs when I have something worth submitting. Here is my latest. Since Ford owns Aston Martin and the last I heard Aston Martin is getting back into racing I thought that this is the perfect platform. They are supposedly going to use a racing version of the new DB9 but I think this racer and road car would be a much better set up. It is designed using the Ford GT chassis. It is tuned to 575hp and more plush than the Ford Version. It would price in at about $225,000 and it would just be a more exotic GT. Let me know what you think. I am doing the rear view now.

    Cool design.

    GT40ish.

    Side treatment leaves something IMHO.

It is not Ferrari related, so I'm not sure it belongs on the site.

Other than that, it looks really awesome!

I agree with Omar above. For 225K I don't want a car that looks like something else. AM cars have been very well designed and are cars that are easily recognizeable and not usually mistaken for anything. They are unique in a classic sense. That design, no offense to you, looks like a GT rip off, with a 2003 Mustang side scoop slapped on.

Design is great if it was for a different manufacturer. For AM, I expect more.

Remember just my personal opinion. :)

I really DONT LIKE That side scoop, but the rest is great. Aston hasnt built a mid-engine supercar yet, and IMO an Aston super-GT would be cool. Maybe it just needs a bit more distinction between it and the Ford GT.

BTW how do you do these kind of pictures? Is it pencil/pen&paper then photoshop? Or is it all PC or all Paper? The reason is that I have an idea for a Lamborghini Miura-esque V16/W16 design that I am beginning to sketch, and I would like to finish it in a manner similar to your pic.
    Thanks!
