Just finished a new drawing. For all you Stradale lovers out there.

    Hope you like.

(sorry for the bad pic. The actual drawing is brighter. Lousy cam...)

    Thanks guys!

The wheels are indeed important. In this angle, they really are the distinctive feature for the Stradale. Allthough far from perfect, I think they turned out allright.

I don't think people should expect this sort of thing to be perfect... if you want perfect, take a picture.

This is an interpretation so I expect some oddities from the artists' eye.

The trick is making it recognisable as a Stradale yet with some imperfections that give it character.

Quite right. Allthough I will never add an imperfection on purpose just to give a drawing character, (and I do actually always aim for perfection), I wouldn´t like a drawing to be merely a translation of a photo to pencil. I don´t measure anything, just go by eye and when you look deeper, you´ll probably find many flaws. For instance that the wheels aren´t perfectly round. Stuff like that.

Again, thank you for all your nice comments (allthough I´m always open for good old honest criticism).

Lukas> Are you working on anything right now? Any chance of showing some new stuff in the near future?

    duuuuuude.

That's pretty damn awesome, love the values, though I'd say you need to make the car slightly more vivid, meaning maybe add some contrast solely so that the car is delineated from the rest of the picture more....but if it's brighter in real life then forget what I said.

    AWESOME.
