I found myself with some spare time on my hands and decided and go ahead to make a drawing of a 410 Superamerica. Coincidently, I had just started doing the superficial outlines, when Alex Papas announced he had actually purchased one of those stunning beauties.

And now it is more or less finished.

Hope you like, and again, sorry for the crappy pic. Still no decent camera.

No, I believe it is called a Ferrari (410) Superamerica :D

In all seriousness though, no idea who's 410 this is. I just like the color combo.

Excellent contrast in the exterior drawing. I'd actually like to see you draw an SWB...

    Beautiful!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Any chance of a limited edition print out of this?
I happen to have the 1/43 scale handbuilt model of this very car (MR COLLECTION of Italian handbuilts).

Thanks you guys. It is nice to have your work appreciated. Feel free to critizise nonetheless. I am also here to learn.

An SWB sounds tempting. Never even attempted one. I´ll take it into consideration (a competition version!). I myself was thinking of doing the "IGOL" F40 GTE. Love that car.

Unfortunately I won´t have the time in the coming months. But whenever I finishing anything, Fchat is usually the first to know :)

I can only reproduce by making a color copy. I´ve however learned that a copy doesn´t match the color intensity of the real deal and that makes it just under par. If I ever would turn commercial on this, in one way or another, I want to be able to deliver something that is up to standard and for the moment, I am not able to do that. Thanks for your inquiry though. I take it as a big compliment.

No, I use ordinary colored pencils. Well, not exactly ordinary, since they are of good quality (faber castell or something like that), but apart from that simple leadpencil and the occasional disposable ballpoint. Those are useful for emphasizing details. That´s pretty much it.

Interior was indeed a bit more labour than I had anticipated. Steeringwheel was a particular b*tch, and it was something I had never done before. Besides that I wanted to lay the focus upon the 410 Superamerica being an outspoken luxury car (other than being fast and powerful as a Ferrari obviously would be), and I figured the interior shows that, like the overly shiny Borrani´s.

Thank you for your compliments. I think now you are due for something new ;)

    BEAUTIFULL!!
I could only dream of having that kind of talent. If you ever decide to reproduce any of your Ferrari art please don't forget poor ol' copterjon.
