http://www.autoweek.com/article.cms?articleId=102760 I love them. They are more subtle than the bbs's. also, an article talkin bout a wreckage on a subaru sti and the $57,000 carbon fiber engine cover http://www.autoweek.com/article.cms?articleId=102703 Image Unavailable, Please Login
Does that enzo also appear to have a body kit? it looks lower and slightly different in the ground effects area CJB PS i like em better too
Is this Enzo in the US or Asia? If in the US I think the owner changes wheels every now and then, one set maybe set up for track use. Possibly slicks.
That's a Japanese Enzo. The car in front of it is a silvergrey F40. There are some more pics of it somewhere else on FChat ...
I don't know, sorry. It seems that there are three silvergrey Enzos in Japan: * The one shown in this thread, probably the same that was present at two meetings at Matsuda's place in 2004 (one time with normal wheels, one time with the new wheels) * One from Osaka (if I remember well), which has a small mirror under it's normal mirror (how do you call it, a "dead corner" mirror?). Pics are here on FChat, I believe from "ExoticSpotter" website. * One with a tan interior that I saw in May this year in Tokyo (see Enzo Register for serialnumber)
I prefer these. Not much in the terms of beauty but makes it look real mean http://www.supercarfrance.com/SupercarRally2004/Monaco/34.jpg http://www.supercarfrance.com/SupercarRally2004/Monaco/33.jpg
yeah..those are pretty nice. If i owned an Enzo, I'd probably have another garage full of wheels...so i can have a diffrent look everytime! If I had an Enzo, I'd have these: -a set of gunmetal's -a set of matteblacks -deepdished black's with a chrome lip -a set of stock wheels -a set of the novitec wheels -BBS'S if possible
Cool, can you get the link for the F40? i had a quick look but my boss is around at the mo..............
I remember seeing a television show on discovery channel or something like that once. They were at West Coast Customs (it was not MTV's "Pimp My Ride", that's for sure) at the time that the Enzo was delivered, the same Enzo that can be seen on their website. The owner wanted some special rims on it (like an Enzo on itself isn't special enough... ) But I remember they had a lot of trouble to find a set of rims that actually fitted the Enzo. I'm not completely sure, but I believe it had something to do with the single wheelnuts. So there is pretty small selection of rims that could actually be assembled on an Enzo
Personal opinion is those wheels have been out for many many years now and to be honest I think they make the car look kind of cheap. Probably spent a fortune on them too. Each to their own though as we all know!
I saw this show too, they actually subcontracted the job out to a wheel shop to fabricate some custom wheels. I believe they were around $25k for the set, and I couldn't tell you what they were made out of or the specs. As a side note, the customer had the enzo delivered to WCC, then the shop manager had to drive it down to the wheel shop. They asked him what it was like, he said something like "I don't know, I kept it below 30".
Here's two more pics of the silver cars in Japan for those who are interested. >8^) ER Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
i wouldnt be surprised. it actually looks a little bit like 135262 except with darker wheels. but this one is a non-US Enzo where 135262 is. i like it nonetheless
...saw a titanium enzo in Monaco last year....wish I had my camera with me. It looked better than any other colour I have seen.
