Hi, I have a 1977 Boxer and was wondering if I should change the exhaust. I hear a lot about tubi and Capristo etc on here, and was wondering if anyone has any recommendations - ie should I do it or will I noticed no difference at all?!?!?! Thanks one and all.
Try www.stainless-exhaust.com for louder more aggressive plain mad sounding exhaust. Plus you get an awesome Formula 2 style crackle and pop when you take your foot off the accelerator and none of the Tubi or Capristo type hollow reverberation. Cheap for around £900 all inclusive.
I've put a Tubi on my 76 365BB which sounds unbeleivable, not too loud just unbeleivable. Came from Manu at Scuderia Systems at a very sensible price including fitting by Verdi. If you are anywhere near St Albans you are welcoem to coem and see/hear. Simon
It might be worth speaking to Richard at Rosso Corsa as he deals with all the major exhaust players and can produce bespoke systems (I'm told).
My nearest dealers are KHPC. I suppose I should give them a call to see what they recommend as well. I'm grateful for your input guys as I will now have some useful background information so that I will appear a complete novice when I start talking to suppliers....
Try QuickSilver Exhausts - I have a Super Sports sytem on my BBi which sounds fan - bloody - tastic.... Seb
