Just installed my new Nouvalari exhaust system on my USA 82 308 GTSi. I wanted to say how impressed I was with Glen from Nouvalari-USA. He was always available with an answer to any question I had. The fit was PERFECT, quality was first rate..Sound was AWESOME. I elected to have the super-sport (louder one) muffler and since my car has 2 cats and they seem to quite the sound anyway (.vs. test pipes). I live in Calif and we are hosed regarding smog checks so the cats have to stay. I removed the 'diaper' and fabricated a valance out of aluminum to mount above the muffler.

Nothing wrong with modern Cats; there is no performance loss - I wouldn't be at all "upset" about having to keep them. The only issue IMO is having the slow-down light system functional. If it is not, then I wouldn't keep the cats on the car except for the emissions check.

Here is the video, one thing the video does not pick up is the low freq 'rumble' at idle. It sounds COOL both in and out of the car. The sound is not too loud, should not be a problem with getting tickets (ha ha). Also the old exhaust weighed 45 pounds, the Nouvalari weighs in at 25 pounds.

Cost was $1,800 and that included delivery. I needed 3 new exhaust 'donuts' also, those were about $12.00 from NAPA. My SN is 39297. It took about 4 hours to install (actually about 30 mins to install the new one, 3 1/2 hours to remove the old one. (rusted bolts on the flanges were kind of a pain but a good soaking with WD40 helped)
