    After taking a 2 year break from the Ferrari List I've decided to get back into the scene.

    Looking forward to chatting about Ferraris, and other enthusiast autos.

    I know several of you already, looking forward to getting to know some more.

    - Haha...how can I forget you Tom? Snot nosed kid...well, I'm touching quarter-century in a few weeks, how young could I have been?

    You and your million mile Suburban! How's your Mondial? You need to show me the art of drifting, if you really are a sprint car driver...

    - As far as the "playboy" goes, it's a mindset you either have or don't have regarding life! ;)

    - I'm not driving an enthusiast car yet, but am looking at the C5s and 308s for the near future.

    - Me leaving the Ferrari list was nothing against them, it was just that I started grad school at the time, and the topics that were going around weren't exciting enough to justify 70-80 emails a day. I unsubscribed from all other "lists" accordingly. I probably will return eventually.

    I think that the web based forums are a much bigger convenience. However, the lists are definitely more intimate since you're FORCED to deal with all those emails and you get to know people better, a bit more family like.

    Also, the lists weed out the "trolls" so well, whereas on the web, there's little you can do to stop them. The notorious banned user from F-chat I first recall on the L-list YEARS AGO....was much more tame back then. But I don't think anyone wants to get into this.

    :)

    ps - I'm sure he's a cool guy once you get to know him....just a bit much online.

    LOL.
    I sold the Suburban last year with 250,000 miles on it. Got $8,000 on a trade in for a used Geo as my son's first car and a Trailblazer for my wife.. The dealer knew how well I maintained that truck.
    The Mondial is still humming along and is still my daily driver. 87,000 miles on it. And that's with not driving in 2002.
    As for racing.....last race was in 8/01. Health issues caused me to drop out. Will I be back? Who knows.
