Hi, Thought i'd introduce myself as have been reading whats going on recently.... I used to have a Mondial 3.2, a testarossa and then a 355. My number plate was D8 RED on the mondial and tes. I did attend a few kent meetings so a few of you might remember me..... Not had an F for a while now after the 355 so not been to any meetings. Have had a Boxster and M5 but not the same as an F. Therefore contemplating another very shortly. Financially a cheaper one though-prob a GT4 as i think they're great value. Any thoughts on GT4's then please let me know.... Hi Mark I think getting a GT4 is a great idea. I saw one at Verdi's and it looks really nice when you see it in person. Its quick producing 255 BHP at 7600 rpm and a top speed of over 150mph (reading far to many car mags lately). Love the interior. Black or red look the best.
Fine idea fella..... bought my GT4 this February, love it to bits. At Brighton Speed Trials this year, only a second and a 1/2 slower than a 355 over the 1/4 mile. Going to test on limit handling at the Airfield Day on Wednesday, seems pretty stable and predictable on the road. Wedgy shape is making a come back, sort of backlash against too much of the wind tunnel shapes all manufactures have had to adopt. Prices from £8,000 or so, can't go wrong.
