Anyone else notice the changes on the F1 site? I think it looks goofy and clustered now, personally.

Yeah, the previous version was much better in my mind. It used to be much clearer.

Other than the two top "banners" that are WAY TOO BIG, the rest of the site is good. Wish they would put the count down to the next race back at the top though.

I agree. The top two banners are entirely too large. I do like the rest but due to the top two banners it makes the rest of the site seem clunky. I am a fan of clean, simple designs.

    UG. :(

Looks like something a kid made with FrontPage. I liked the old style much better.

That's a pretty bad page, the fluorescent colours just don't suit an F1 page. I liked the minimalism with the old page. How it the main stuff took up about 60% of the screen.

It looked more official before. Now it looks just like any other F1 fan/website.

Basically like any website that "upgrades", this looks worse.

Why can't they just leave things the way they are?

My biggest dislike of their site has always been accessing results, like qualifying, without digging around the interviews/articles. Not impossible, just laid out unintelligently. I don't know if it's any better now, but we'll see.

Agreed, the old site might of looked better, but was a pain to navigate! You use to have to go to 3 pages, just to get to the live timing page, looks like they have now got direct links now !

Actually that part was always easy and straight forward and still is: Just go to the bar at the top and select "Results". On the old site it was called "Results Archive". Straight forward.

I miss the cute girl with the hat selling stuff. I miss the countdown to the race, but like the countdown to qualifying.

It will take some getting used to, that's for sure.

Does that site have a countdown anywhere? If it does it'll be my new home page :) I like the countdown because sometimes I forget when the next race is.
