    The kids lost one of my F12 keys. :(

    How much is a new key going to cost me? I have the key card.

    If you are in the US it will likely cost you $1,000. I know outrageous..

    Sorry, I do not know the replacement cost (think it is well over the $1K stated) but always insist on both keys, key card, and all accessories and manuals with any car. You just have the sales manager write it on that form that says what you owe them and what they owe you. That way, the cost is irrelevant and the dealer has the burden to supply. If its a recent model and you are not low balling then he should gladly go for it and you can continue not knowing the cost. Doesn't help if you lose one though. Good luck.
