New F355 Berlinetta Owner

    Hello Ferrari Chat members.

    Just purchased my first Ferrari, a 1997 F355 Berlinetta.

    Big thank you to a few Ferrari Chat members - Clay (Knightmare), Rob (WolfTurbo), and Brent. Great guys who take great care of their vehicles, and I am fortunate to have picked up this 355.

    The car is black on tan, gated 6-speed, and has 19,700 miles. Some of you may be familiar with this car from earlier threads.

    While I live in NYC, the car will live with my father in North Carolina. Always wanted to ride in a Ferrari with my dad, and pretty pumped to finally make it happen.

    Knightmare was having a hard time deciding which of his 5 or so F-cars to sell to simplify. Lucky for you, looks like the F355 was one on the block.

    Your car is painfully beautiful. Congratulations. Enjoy the time with your dad and break away from the big city often to good roads.

    This car just had the tranny gone through, right? Congratulations!!

    My car is a 95 black/tan I got at 25k miles, now at 53k. Had it for 8 years and will likely never sell.

    You're going to LOVE this car. It seems to be one of the better examples out there. Nice job!

    Appreciate the kind words everyone, and I will certainly keep the posts / photos coming.

    The guys took great care of this 355. The gearbox and clutch were replaced a few months ago, and the engine out service has already been performed as well. Has a Tubi exhaust and high flow cats as well, and sounds great.

    Man that car looks good! Challenge grille on it's way? Love it on my black car, makes the rear look a bit tighter IMO. Prosport makes or made an aftermarket one that according to others is indistinguishable from the Ferrari grille, for about $800.
