Some great Ferrari's in Montreal. Did anyone spot a nice F355? Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
Next year let's meet up, sorry to have missed you Robb! In 2018 I'd also like to make it to the races in Monaco and São Paulo.
Did China two years ago. I am trying to hit Singapore or Malaysia this year in the fall. Will also likely be in TX. The races are fantastic. Dream trips would also be races in Europe.. Robb
A link out to my new 360 thread. http://www.ferrarichat.com/forum/360-430-sponsored-yellow-compass-group/554619-2000-360-modena.html Some drive time in the 355's coming up July 4th.
Looks great Brian! How does the cable shifter in the 360 feel vs the 355? I noticed when test driving a 997 the shifter was really sloppy compared to my old 993 (which is also a linkage rod like 355) but of course I'm sure all cable shifters are not created equal.
Not sure how Brian finds it, but the shifter is much nicer in the F355 I find. I had a 2004 360 gated and it wasn't as enjoyable to throw through the gate. Also I found that I was more aware of the existence of the gate during shifting as it has thicker more prominent prongs between the openings of the shift pattern. RPM also drop very fast on the 360 in between clutch in and out so it's can be less smooth dependent on the drivers inputs.
Agreed, this is right on. Both models shift and drive great, but I'd have to say the linkage rod system in the 355 has a slightly better feel than the cable shift system in the 360.
