I would like to formally introduce myself as a new owner. I just received the title a few days ago for a yellow 1995 F355 Spider with 10,000 miles. The only modifications done to the car are a Tubi exhaust and a custom stereo system. The shipping company will be picking up the car over the weekend and it will arrive here in about 10 days.

I have been lurking here on these forums for the last couple of years. I can remember the first time I heard a sound clip of a F355 on the internet. After that moment I knew I had to have that car someday. I did not really even have any intentions of buying a new car so close to the fall/winter season. Just out of curiosity, I was looking around on the for sale sites and found the exact year/color/trim that I loved. I got a full PPI done by a highly recommended independent Ferrari shop and they gave me the reassurance that the car was as nice as the owner had stated. Being so close to my birthday, I thought it could be an early gift to myself!

Now the long almost two week wait begins. I just hope that I get it soon enough to at least enjoy it for a few weeks before the weather starts turning here :(

Congratulations. There are few things quite as exciting of the delivery of a 355. Make sure to send us some "delivery" pics...

Congratulations. I bet the wait will be worth it! :) The F355 is one of my favourite F-cars.. and you are so right about the engine note, it has probably the best sounding street legal engine ever!

take her through a small tunnel with top down at triple digit speeds to redline, there is only one thing better than this, and we all know what it is. i am jealous of the Spyder guys for only one reason, the reflected sound must be about twice as loud as my berlinetta! The one time I was pulled over in a convertible (at 25 years of age), the sirens from the park ranger nearly gave me a heart attack!!! Congratulations on your purchase, and I'm sure everyone (myself included) is dying to see pics!
