Hi guys, My first post. Well, whilst at the nurburgring with my friends last weekend I took a 45 minute drive out to Bonn, the old capital of west Germany when divided. I had been looking at 355's since um let's see, when I was 14. Lol. I never forget the first time I saw a picture of the 355 in 94 and it became my dream car. Posters on walls and everything. When I was 21 my parents bought me a ferrari driving experience. I got to drive a 348 and a 355. The allure of the 348 soon wore off when I kept catching a tooth trying to shift that dogleg box from 1st to 2nd at speed. That said it warmed me up nicely for what was to come. It was a red manual 96 berlinetta with black leather. As I approached the car everything around me seemed to stop and I was captivated by its beauty. As I slipped inside the drivers seat I was mesmerised by the gleaming chrome shifter and everything the instructor said just glazed over me. As I cranked the car into life I set off for what turned out to be a sure bet that one day I just had to own one of these cars. The lasting memory of the chiming gate as I slammed home second and third gear kept me going all these years. So not to bore you all any way, 12 years on and I finally done it. I'm going back to pick the car up next month and trailer it home. Spent most of its life living in Monaco but now she's coming home with me to the uk. Just so unbelievably excited. Hope to get to know some of you on here for help and tips with the car. Mark
