New F430 (09) Late Posting

OK, I finally received my new F430 (See previous posts about issues) and I was very happy to fly to Florida and inspect it. I flew to Florida back in late June to pick it up. The only problem I had was that I ordered the car with rear segment carbon fiber and they delivered it with rear engine carbon fiber grill covers. A more expensive option but I wanted that anyway. They originally thought I screwed up but instead they found out it was their mistake and within 72 hours, I had the rear segment in carbon fiber.

The car is unbelievable. This is my first Ferrari and I am overwhelmed with the overall performance not to mention the attention this car gets on the road. While the car was at the dealership, I had Ryan from Auto Paint Guard install a full coverage front bra. He did an amazing job and even worked at the dealership when they were closed to get it done. (They locked him and and he called to be let out). What great service.

The car was delivered to my office in Ohio from Florida by Horseless Carriage. They did a great job and were in communication with me throughout the process. Highly recommended.

I also had front skid plates installed from Premier Motorsport based on the feedback I received from FerrariChat. The dealership said they are the best fitting and best made plates they have ever worked on. Thanks for the guys ad Premier for this.

I ordered custom car mats from Dynamic Technology Group and after 10 phone calls and numerous excuses, they could not deliver. I gave them 3 months and they still couldn't tell me when they would arrive. They did however let me cancel the order.

I have sense ordered and received new mats from West Wind European. The first set did not have the cut out for the fire extinguisher that I ordered, they shipped another one with the cut out but forgot to have the border stitched in red, as ordered.

I have attached a few pictures. Unfortunately, because the car will stay in Ohio this winter, it is already stored away for the winter. Hopefully, we'll get another nice day before it snows.

I think it is actually for the Bose sound system. All I know is that it was the 7k option that I picked up. I just realized this week that the switch next the lower/raise roof is for a little box between the seats. It's a lot of fun trying to figure everythign out on a new car!

 

Here are a couple pictures with the floor mats installed. I think they turned out pretty good. Just enough red and black to draw your eye but not overwhelm.
