Here is the final option list (September delivery hopefuly): - rosso corsa exterior; - nero interior; - F1 coupe; - Carbon Ceramic brakes; - fender shields; - rosso corsa red calipers; - yellow tachometer; - silver/white/grey stiching (I am waiting for a sample before making the choice - red was too much IMO); - black leathered roof; - Tire pressure monitor (still not likeing the idea but let's try the sucker); - pirelli tires, no runflats; - 3M clear bra; - "plancia centrale" in carbon fibre (the trimming surounding the airvents, both sides and central console). I hope this is the begining of a beautiful friendship Thanks everybody for the advices and feel free to comment. PS Here are the codes: CCMD, LOGO, CALR, RUF1, STC1, TPM0.
Don't hold your breadth - considering it's already end of June and July's allocations were submitted in Apr/May and factory shutdown the entire month of August, the best you could hope for is a Sept. build for an Oct/Nov delivery. Unless you select air delivery. My last order was accepted on May 1st and it is scheduled for July 30 completion. I'm hoping to make the last boat out of port before summer holidays!
Marksp, I am just like you ! I think our cars went down the assembly line together! last I heard the car has a serial number which means it is in the final test drive and getting ready for the boat! I'm hoping for a deliveryof early August but I'm not holding my breadth!!! Pentium, I'm very happy for you! the people are very informative and kind (most of them) you have chosen a great family! Welcome M-
With the August shutdown, I'm not expecting mine before the good driving days are mostly behind. Late fall.
mashoutposse: first time buyer, yes. chet: list price. nothing extra. On delivery: they are opening the first Ferrari dealer in the country, so the cars were allocated at least at the begining of 2006. All are already spoken for. The engine it's already build and they scheduled the cars to be here on opening day so I would be very surprised if a delay will appear. F1, CCM and TPM were compulsory. Basically the only thing I could chose were trimming options and I went light on them to be sure I will no create delays.
If you go for the pressure monitor you have to have the run flats BTW I have the run flats and think they are great - given where you are I really would suggest getting them
You can order TPMS without the run flats. If you order run flats, the TPMS comes automatically with it, but you can get TPMS for Pirelli/Michelin/Bridgestone as well.
oh sorry now I remember what the issue was with my car - you can't have the challenge wheels with the TPMS
