Like it better than the 360 Modena, Cant wait to see the spyder :)
Look at this pic of the mirror. http://fast-autos.net/ferrari/f4305.html I like it. Heres more pics and info. http://fast-autos.net/ferrari/ferrarif430.html
I like it, but the 360 will always be "the Ferrari" for me, because that was the car that made me fall in love with the marquee.

My, how the consensus has changed from the first pics from Mexico! Generally people hated it before, now it looks like the waiting lists are going to be that much longer!
I was referring to the styling....Articulated wheel arch, large air vent in door, front sloping stance and beautiful lines Pinninferina styling something we have not seen since the 355. I think Ferrari is back on track, especially if the performance numbers stated in the other thread are correct.
The styling will grow on most people, we will all love it in a couple of years time, cant argue with those figures though.
There's a big write up in Autocar today (UK) together with offially released photos, 0 - 60 under 4 secs, 196MPH, can scan later if interested Personally I think it looks great
Not likely. It's even fuglier than the 360. The only good thing is that you don't have to see it when you're driving it...
I love it! It adds some real aggression to the graceful lines of the 360. I think the front end is a big improvement, that was the part that took me the longest to warm up to on the Modena. Here it is nice and deep, reminicent of the 360 GT. Yet Ferrari also keeps it traditional with the shark nose vents, a really nice touch. The headlights are great too, and it's a good thing they changed since the C6 Corvette will be using the 360's design. The one feature that threw me a bit was the change to the 250 LM-style air intakes, which are now much bigger, perhaps a little too prominent. But the view from the top reveals a very nice contour so I think I will just need to see them from a few more angels to understand how they fit in. I'm pleased to see such a positive response in here, after so many were disappointed with the 612. Seem like the only people who don't like the 430 didn't like the 360 either, and no offense, but if you didn't like the 360, you don't know what you're talking about!
There's one exception to my general dislike of the Modena body shape, and that's when it's in black. I'd love to see this one in black, it might hide the Enzo influence.
Everyone has an opinion on styling, and I completely respect yours. I also completely disagree. To me, the Lambo is much too "SoCal Hollywood", in-your-face excessive, and the 360/430 is gorgeous shape that reminds me of the 330 P4, my favorite Ferrari of all time. (I envy Jim his stunning example) Gary
IMO: front looks GOOD side view looks cluttered rear view looks VERY cluttered & disjointed side mirrors with F430 logo is VERY gay & blingy air scoops mounted on rear haunches look like tacky add-ons if carbon brakes are standard equipment, that is not good news...
The rear end is really a mess -- look at that center pic! I think moving the tail lights up for the Enzo-esque look was a big mistake. It makes the rear end look huge and ungainly, especially from that angle. JMO, of course.
