Someone needs to close that hood. With a jump like that its liable to block the drivers view... Aaron
That license plate looks like a CA hadicapped one. Don't the spectators look a little close the the race?
Sometimes on cars like the 308 and Alfa 105 etc, people will "pad up" the trailing edge of a rear opening bonnet to get more flow through for cooling. On an Alfa 105 the engine is in the front and the whole package gets the benefit of more air being able to escape. This is so common that the Historic racing officials have cottoned on to it and will penalise you or make you secure it as per normal. The 308 would benefit from the same treatment although it is just the radiator getting the extra flow through. I reckon you would get quite a bit more flow and even good suction with the trailing lip up even an inch more than normal. Keeping in mind that this bonnet doesn't even have the benefit of the extra louvres like in the latter models. Or of course it could be just some flimsy fibreglass bonnet for weight saving. Steve
Just merely taking off. Hope the pilots stay off their laptops during flight, would not want to overshoot the landing.
i can do that to... as for the bonnet: note that the standard lock is replaced by fast-tightners. it just does not fit in stock 308norms. it probely has a fuelcell tank in front and maybe that's the reason. it wil probely be an fiberglass one (the bonnet), also a reason... mine is carbon, aslo not 100% tight as it should be Image Unavailable, Please Login
The licence place is Spanish. Actually the registration is from early 2008 I think. Do you (poster) know where it was taken? Who, where, etc.
