Hi, Maybe I'm getting on in years, but I'm having a hard time remembering all these events. If I set this up on one of my servers: http://www.bosdev.com/bosdates/index.htm Do you think we could convince people to use it for car-club events? Also, I'm sort of of the opinion that posting the photos on the boards is a bit too time-consuming and sort of hard to deal with. What if I put this on that same server: http://www.photopost.com/ I could set it up as carclubevents.com or something like that. Thoughts?
the picture thing is a great idea, its easy to just upload our fullsized pictures that would be autmatically thumbnailed by someone else. This 640x640 thing sucks
its a pain, but its not that bad. for me you to blur out the license plates, resize the pics to 640 for 50 pictures takes about 15 minutes on photoshop. but hey....if there is an easier way....its great!
The first suggestion is a great idea, but the issue I see is getting people to use that as a continual reference. I think the second idea on photo-posting is also a good one. Like Hubert, I don't think the effort of posting the pictures is the issue; I just wish we weren't restricted to the 640x640 size limitation. But I'm happy to contribute the photos to this site. I cannot believe how many people actually watch VH1. When I agreed to do it, I thought to myself: Noone watches VH1. Noone's ever gonna see this.
