I heard through the grapevine that Ferrari has a new design for the exhaust brackets that include a rubber bushing. Called my local dealer and they don't know anything about it. Anyone have some insider info?

Is everyone who has gone with Capristo exhaust brackets happy? Before buying them I am just trying to make sure that there is no downside.

They work fine on mine, about 3/4 inch expansion. I had 2 original brackets that attached to the GB crack

I went to the Ferrari Sport exhaust (which is made by Tubi but different from the muffler you purchase direct from Tubi). Comes with different brackets. In my opinion, should have been the original stock. So far, no issues with brackets, no white powder, sounds better to my ear, don't think it is any louder than stock, just better sound. If you are not going toheadrs, I think worth considering before you invest in new brackets.

    Hello,

Thank you all for the support!!
Our bracket kits are an inexpensive solution to the Ferrari bracket issues. Also if you are in the market for an exhaust keep in mind our exhaust comes with our brackets as well. Also our headers have a 4-2-1 design, and come with our Heat blankets. see the link below for a video on just how bad ass our heat blankets are. Links to our website for more info on all of the products listed.

Let me know if there are any questions.

How are they different? Are the brackets solid or have something that allows movement, like the Capristo springs?

Are these supposed to help prevent with exhaust header cracks?? And if so, how do they do it?

There is one bracket for each side. I've had 5 broken ones from Dec 09 to this time last year.

I installed Capristo units a year ago. No problems.

For clarification, did you mean you had 5 broken headers and now you have not had any since this bracket install? If so how much time have you been on the headers you currently have since the bracket install.

I have a 2007 Ferrari, has 11k miles on it, no problems yet, but all who have these cars know of the problem, so I am trying to look for a fix before it breaks.

With the Capristo brackets do you hear any noises or rattles? I read in one thread something about a rattle or noise around 3000 rpms, but who knows, maybe they weren't installed correctly. Thus wanted to gauge your experience?

Wow, so it's hard for me to see, but that looks like two brackets, attached to a bar, then supported by a center mount that might have a rubber bushing in it... is that what's going on here? If so, that looks like a better support system than putting on brackets with little springs.

(Please note, I don't have my car yet - being delivered - so I have no idea what I'm looking at!)

    That pretty much it.
However it only goes with the "Ferrari Sport / Tubi" Exhaust System.

Cannot be used with the original exhaust.

Are you still running the stock manifolds? Also, just curious about how much the Ferrari Sport Exhaust costs?

Yes. Everything else is bone stock. I do not recall price. I think a little north of 5k but not sure.

I definitely have the somewhat objectionable vibration noise around 2500-3500 rpms and have capristo brackets, not sure if anybody has figured out definitively if the brackets are the culprit though. I'm going for an S-line soon so I'm assuming that specific vibration will be gone with the new exhaust and mounts.

I found an old thread about a vibration or rattling noise around 3000 rpms with the Capristo exhaust brackets and one owner mentioned they solved it by moving the washers to the space between the Capristo bracket and the chassis.

Anyone else experience this rattling around 3000 rpms with the Capristo brackets?

Wow 3/4"? Have you measured this from tail pipe tip against bodywork?
I made my own free expanding/sliding brackets and I only get 7/16"
