Glad he is ok. That's bad luck. Now I don't want to hear any more about teams' reliability :)

If Massa can drive the car as fast as he got out of it he may win some races this year.

LDM just wanted to see how fast Massa is. He hasn't seen it much lately.

The 458 shares more with the F1 cars than I thought...

I was thinking that the F150 was empathizing with Massa's career - going up in flames this season! :p

Anyone else seeing his front right tire being utterly destroyed? Does Pirelli think they're being funny with this? haha

Before stopping because of the fire, Massa had just spun the car twice (likely due to oil spilling from the burst hose that caused the fire), so the tire may be showing debris from driving off-track a bit.

However, I applaud Pirelli for making less durable tires - the ability of a driver to manage tire wear and degradation will be highlighted, and the more skillfull drivers in this regard, like Button and Rosberg and Alonso, will be rewarded.

Just a faulty fuel line. Simple problem, simple fix.

You'd think if it was such a simple problem, it could be just as simply tested for/avoided?

Shift happens. That's what testing is for.

Much rather have this problem than some mysterious collapse of your hydraulic system.

Now now, just an adhesive. Of course on the 458 it holds a heatshield... on the F150 the adhesive is there to hold onto the tiny shred of hope the Tifosi have of Alonso not being an asshead all season...

I believe the fia requested pirelli make tires that degrade quicker, in order to spice up the show.....
I'll see if I can find that article

The car can be unreliable during the pre season test, as long as it's fast and reliable when it's race time, i'm ok with it.. :D

Yeap. More durable tyres and no refuelling is a massive boring combo.
