Some curious casting choices IMO. Penelope Cruz is too hot to play Laura Ferrari.

 

Don’t fail to be sure not to miss it if you can……

 

Adam Driver is a terrible actor...

 

I’d love to see a well researched and accurate biographical documentary on Ferrari. I’m just not interested in a dramatization.

 

I think somebody like Paul Sorvino would be good as the older Enzo.

 

Hollywood cares about dollars, not historical data. If they can capitalize off some car aficionado’s, they will.

I hope they show Enzo's die-for-me attitude. I think that's why Shelby and he couldn't get together. Shelby had friends that drove for Ferrari and EF wanted them to take every risk without adequate compensation. But Mike if you're reading this and decide you want to do a fiction book someday....

It will be a colossal, as there is a 400 men filming troupe and they are even building a fake Factory in Modena. It will be something like "Rush", I guess.

There will be scenes in front of Enzo Ferrari home and his father home, inside the Enzo Ferrari barber shop and in many Modena downtown main roads.

They often block the traffic for filming.

The film tells the story of 1957 season, with Alfonso De Portago and Peter Collins as characters.

Ms. Cruz is 49 years old. I can't find a picture of Mrs. Ferrari from before 1961, when she was 61. Don't confuse age and youth with beauty or lack thereof. I have to assume a type A guy like Enzo did not settle for a lesser women in his youth, although we know he took another far younger as he got older. (As they say, few Great Men are also good men)
