NEW ferrari paddock green limited

My wife purchased it via the website for Christmas. Love it. The green lacquered case is heavy and lined with black leather, with carbon fibre on the inside of the lid. The watch is beautiful, and best of all is heavy and chunky; after owning various watches made of light weight material, it's great to have another watch you know is on you wrist. The black band is made of supple leather; no breaking-in period. The scuderia shield paper weight is flat (SF shields on the cars tend to be curved) but has a nice titanium colour trim around the edge. Like the watch, the paperwieght comes in it's own little case inside to green box and can be removed, so that you could use the box as a jewelery/watch box if you wanted to.

The watch, box and shield are all numbered - mine was 292 of the limited run of 299. If the ferrari store is to be believed, this is a limited edition, but I recently noted that product is still for sale on the site. Perhaps they are not being sold to customers in numerical order because mine was purchased in November 09. The watch is now available on it's own, so if you can't get the whole set, I'd urge you to buy the watch; the best to be released by ferrari so far.

I bought the Ferrari jumbo watch (red) at the Ferrari store in Maranello a few years ago. The paddock chronograph is far more dressy and elegant, with the day and date/large SF shield and yellow second hand all on show. Buy one.

 

I got the red one limited to 60 units, my box arrived damaged and now 6 months later (and one failed attempt to return the damn thing...apparently the post office had NO IDEA where it was supposed to go...the ITALIAN post office!) they STILL have not replaced my lid...thankfully that was all that was damaged! Really pisses me off...I won't be ordering from them again!

 

I just got the watch but cant seem to find the instruction booklet. Is there one available online? Thanks!
