MOV in Microsoft Windows is always a bit unstable, I can play MPG in the Windows Media Player, which always works... I do have QuickTime yes..

Hmmm, I didn't know that. I will work on trying to convert it to MPG. Does it work with everyone else who has windows?

David, I am gonna look around, I have a copy of media cleaner for mac to do clean quicktime compression, I am a member of the quicktime creatives developer group, so I might have tools floating around, I'll have to check. I got a box of stuff from apple's santa monica hq a few back, so let me see what i don't have in the edit bay. i know i have a sorenson card :)

    Timothy,

If I just change the name to a .mpg, would it work? I just don't want to do anything if it still won't work. I'll ask my dad, he might know how it works.

I talked to my dad and he says that you most likely have an old version of quicktime. He also says that MPG's don't play well in Windows Media Player. You should be able to view the MOV movies and MPG both in the quicktime program. But I suggest downloading the latest version of quicktime FOR FREE off the apple website for windows or mac. Better yet, buy the quicktime pro version (this is what I use, it is VERY good), and you shouldn't have any problems at all.

Here's the link to download quicktime for free...http://www.apple.com/quicktime/download/

Hope this solves the problem for you.
