The whole thing is one big joke

Engine must last for two races
Tires cannot be changed during the race
Qualifying is a combination of a lottery system and a two lap adventure

The FIA tried for 4 years to change the rules and keep changing them until Ferrari could not keep up.

Finally they managed to come up with enough drastic changes that Ferrari cannot keep up with these risky, unsafe and unpractical endurance racing rules.

This is not endurance racing. Endurance racing places the emphasis on endurance and not on speed. I don't see how the rules were designed to slow down Ferrari... they always had the best tires and there was no reason to doubt they would again this year (even though they turned out not to). Ferrari was always the most reliable engine and had the best tuned aero/engine/tire combination out there. Ferrari was best equipped to meet the new challenge since they already had the best aero development and the most reliable engine.

I don't see how it singled out Ferrari at all. BAR and Sauber seem to have dropped down the grid a lot, McLaren still isn't what it was 3 years ago, and Williams is off from where they were 2 years ago, as is Ferrari. The rules made it harder for the smaller teams to keep up, but Red Bull, Renault and Toyota stepped up BIG TIME - kudos to them.

Ferrari knows what they need to do, and if any group on the pitlane is well versed in stepping up to the challenge, it's Ferrari.

Have faith, and be happy for the teams and drivers who are seeing success they did not previously - they deserve it.

i think its pretty unsafe to have ONE set of tyres for the entire race considering the speed, temperature and how hard the drivers push their cars, etc. what a stupid idea comes up by the FIA and dangerous too

in any event i cannot see how this new rule can improve or increase competition between the teams!!!

i guess its a bit worrying cos MS had 20 pts last year by now but he only has 2 pts after two races this year

i think ferrari should consider using their 05 car asap!!!
